Tuesday

The It's All Kid's Play blog has moved! Yes, that's right, it is now hanging out on the It's All Kid's Play.ca website! You can find it right here. There's still great play and crafts ideas for kids as well as even more free play! (2-3 times a week!) So if you are giving slow parenting a try or unwrapping your bubble wrapped kids, I've got stories, and activities for you!

Be sure to check out the It's All Kid's Play Facebook page and Pinterest page as well. And if you like to tweet, I'm on Twitter too!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy!

Jean

P.S. The archived activities on this blog have been moved as well! It's all over there and it's all play!

Twitter Tweet

I am now tweeting activities over on Twitter as well as great parenting articles, links, craft and activity ideas from my blog, site, and the net as well as quotes and other resources. You can see my latest tweets on the sidebar (just over there...), but I'd love to see you on Twitter (@KidsPlay). Follow me to join in the fun! I always love to hear from other parents.

Enjoy!

Monday

Welcome!

While I am not currently posting new activities daily, there are lots of things to do to jump start your child's entertainment and playtime here at It's All Kid's Play as well as on the 'mother' site at www.itsallkidsplay.ca. With over 700 searchable activities and almost 400 of them over here on the blog and over 35 categories to choose from, there is always something to do.

Did you know that playtime is the most important developmental time for children? Even more so than school! Let's make it easy, fun, and affordable!

Let's get started!

Enjoy!

Thursday

Short Break

Hi everyone!

As you may have noticed, the blog has been a bit quiet lately as I have been working as a childrens' programmer (story time gal) in a public library as well as helping two fine writers edit their manuscripts.

I will return to my regular posts soon, but in the meantime, please feel free to check out the full list of activities posted on itsallkidsplay.ca as well as past blog posts using the subject groups to your left.

Have fun and enjoy!

Jean

It's All Kid's Play Website

The It's All Kid's Play website is now up! Tell your friends, tell your neighbours and definitely tell your kids.

www.itsallkidsplay.ca has over 700 activities listed so you'll never hear those dreaded words "I'm bored" again!

Pop over and visit the same great activities you've been finding here plus many more. As well, find jokes, a few book recommendations and some links for sharing.

I'll see you over there!

Friday

Welcome!

I'd like to take a moment to welcome everyone to the 'It's All Kids Play' blog. Within the next few weeks, we'll also have an It's All Kids Play website at http://www.itsallkidsplay.ca/ with tons more fun!

This site is dedicated to having fun the old-fashioned way--cheap and easy! With the economy freaking everyone out, I decided to haul this project out of the closet where it has been gathering dust for the past five years and give it away to parents and children who are looking for a fun way to spend a few hours.

Now, I must warn you, some of these activities are not for the faint hearted. That means there may be some gross activities. (Goody!) As we get more activities up on the site, you will be able to sift through over 700 activities to find something that suits your interests, time or supplies. And please note, if there is a safety first message, be sure to read it and follow safe playing rules. As well, some activities require parent supervision, so haul out your parent and keep them standing by to help you out. There will be car activities, outside activities, games, crafts and a ton more. You'll be sure to never say 'I'm bored' ever again!

Enjoy,
Jean Oram
